Pastor Morris was saved in 1972 in DeRidder, LA. He was baptized into Texas Avenue Baptist Church where he attended with his family by pastor Tom Lee.
Pastor was called to preach in 1992 while serving in the U.S. Army in Hahn, Germany where he attended Grace Baptist Church, pastored by Dr. Jeff Alverson.
In August of 1996, he was called to be pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Fayetteville, Tennessee where he has since served faithfully.
Pastor Morris has been married to his wife, Toueria since 1981 and has two children and four grandchildren.
Pastor received a Doctorate of Divinity in 2011 from Historic Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary, in Scarborough, Ontario, and a Bachelor's degree from Liberty Baptist College and Theological Seminary.
Recently, our Pastor was convicted concerning his baptism and ordination. He was Scripturally baptized, ordained, and sent-out on 9/18/2011 by Toronto Baptist Church, Toronto, ON.
Emmanuel Baptist Church was then re-organized as an unregistered New Testament church on August 26th, 2012, and re-named the Old Paths Baptist Church.
Pastor Morris welcomes any questions or comments you may have.
Pastor feels that Mrs. Morris is not only his best friend, but also the greatest asset to his ministry. She plays piano, leads the ladies fellowships, and assists the other ladies in food preparation for our Sunday meal times. Personally, she is a devoted mother and grandmother, and walks in the Spirit of the Lord daily. Since 2009, Mrs. Morris has been asked by other churches across America to lead their ladies fellowships.

Ephesians 5:25-33
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: 30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
